“Everything was easy, good food, reasonably priced and quiet location. Clean rooms, hotel nice vibe, relaxing stay and decent bathroom”

“On arrival noticed air con not working in room spoke with Sophie on reception who said that she would get maintenance to come and sort it out. Reminded about an hour later “yes, all in hand” Went out for the evening, came back and you guessed it, not been sorted, boiling hot and not helped by being on the top floor. Building is tired, bar staff in garden serve you like they are doing you a favour. Breakfast is good and staff in there really helpful.”

“It could be a lovely hotel if the staff smiled and had a clue what was going on. There was a lovely and friendly lady on reception, and one of the waiter serving in the evening was friendly, as was one of the bar staff (Josh). Everyone else seemed a bit surprised to have guests, and the women working at the bar weee positively rude in their demeanour. It could definitely do with an injection of cash to update it. “Enjoyed my brief overnight stay here. The hotel has a nice relaxing ambience and the rooms are comfortable - even in a heatwave! Had dinner and drinks at the Indian restaurant and bar. The staff are a credit to this hotel. Breakfast was excellent as well as the team who served it. Thanks!”
