A great o e stay in Selimiye

The hotel is on the water frontwith along pier out to large mooring pontoon. We had a sea facing room that was clean and extremely comfortable. Excellent service, the staff could not do enough for us. We had an excellent fish dinner and the breakfast was epic. We only had one night found ourselves wishing we could stau longer. Selimiye is a lively little town aptly called the jewel of the peninsula

A hotel with real management issues.

When you first arrive to the hotel, you may think that it actually worth its value or you will have a pleasant stay. But you are very mistaken, the hotel looks outside but the quality of service and staff will disappoint you sooner then ever. Even though we have made our reservation months ago, when we arrived to the hotel they had no-room for us and actually they were very surprise to see us, it was very clear that they had some managing issues. After a ridiculous talk with several receptionists we finally got a room. Moreover, the hotel requires reservation for dinner -which is understandable since it is an extra service- and we made our reservation in the morning repeatedly confirmed it with different hotel staff and still they did not prepare a table at the dinner and yet they were surprise to see us when we asked for our table. Last, when we wanted to check out they required us to pay the hotel price and we have showed our pre-paid expedia booking but again they did not know how to deal with such reservation. It took us another half hour to explain that we already paid them through expedia. To make the long story short: a hotel with real management issues.

Konaklamamızı POSE"DI"ON olarak ifade etmek istiyorum. Doğrusu ve her türlü tanıtımda "Poseidon" olarak geçen isim; sizi, otel tabelasında "Posedion" olarak karşılıyor. Her şey dışarıdan çok güzel gözükürken, harika iç ve dış mimari tasarımlar gözünüzü alırken; güler yüzlü ve nazik çalışan sizi "elektriğin kesik olabileceği" uyarısı ile odanıza yerleştiriyor. Hemen sıcak suyun akmadığını fark ediyorsunuz. Resepsiyon "sola çevirdiniz mi?, 10 dk. açık bırakın, 2. vanayı da açtık birazdan gelir vb." cevaplar veriyor. Günde 2 kez bu tip bir diyalog yaşanabiliyor. Sabah sunulan kahvaltı ise oldukça vasat, servis amatörce... En olumlu şey: çalışan 2 "bellboy"un yardımseverliği, kibarlığı ve her işe yetişme çabaları. Profesyonel turizm hizmeti verilmeyip işi 2 asgari ücretli çalışana yıkmak...Dışarıdan Poseidon ama içerisi Posedion.

Otel yeni sezon hazırlığında olduğu için kabul edilebilir eksiklikler söz konusu.Mayıs 19'dan sonra kendine özel plajı ve otelin bölgedeki diğer otellere göre daha geniş alanı ile tercih edilmeli.

Traumhafte Umgebung aber schlechter Service

Sehr tolle Umgebung, aber leider sehr schlechter Service. Zimmer wurde erst auf Nachfrage geputzt. Getränke beim inklsuiven Frühstück (Kaffee, Wasser, Saft) wurden extra berechnet ohne darauf hinzuweisen.
