Holiday Inn Express St. Louis West - O'Fallon by IHG

"The facility is a little dated, but they have tried to keep up-to-date as well. There was a fire alarm about 1:30 in the morning that went on for 20 minutes until the fire department could disable it. There was another temporary blast a few minutes after that, likely a test. Despite that, I would give the hotel a 4.5 and so I rounded it up to five."

"This place was nicer than I expected. The room had a vaulted ceiling. The bones are old school motel but someone put some real work into modernizing the place. The update was done right and the place felt brand new. The pool was very modern and usable. The breakfast was slightly better than the typical hotel breakfast. They had popcorn for the guest in the afternoon. I would 100% stay at the Pinemark again."

"Staff was polite and helpful, pool and hot tub were well maintained and open on a very reasonable schedule. Having kids, it’s important to be able to use the pool, and this pool was open till 10. Some other places close it super early. Location was close to Six Flags where we went for 2 days. Breakfast was delicious. Overall I have zero complaints."
