“OK ish to stay with dogs. However the road to get to the property is terrible terrible terrible. We slipped off the Provincial sand road due to mud. However the real challenge is to get to the farm house. Not fun at all especially when wet. We won't visit again because of challenges to get to the property. Real pity. ”

“We had a marvellous time at Caracal Lodge. It was a wonderful away from it all experience. Magtree Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped even though there is no electricity, power being supplied by gas appliances, paraffin lamps and LED lighting. It was magical to wake up with views of the resident giraffe family as well as zebra, impala, horses and a pet pig! Outside there was a braai, fire pit in a lovely shaded area and a small pond. Exploring the 300 hectare game park there...
