โThis hotel and the whole town of Mason City was a happy surprise. The property has been beautifully, painstakingly maintained/restored with nearly every detail impeccably Frank Lloyd Wright. (that also means there are fewer outlets, etc. than you'd expect in a modern build.) Bed was comfy, staff was very accommodating, good dining options within walking distance, nice balcony overlooking the park, so bring a bottle of wine. Kudos to the folks who made this such a great and authentic-feeling...
โI will be back! Lovely city, beautiful BnB, amazing breakfasts , and Cynthia was warm, friendly, and created a welcoming place to stay. Love the cats too! ๐โ
โThe hotel was just less than two miles from the downtown area where we spent most of our time. Our room was quiet and clean. The staff was wonderful. They were courteous, answered all our questions, and directed us to sites around the area. We ate our meals downtown at local eateries and they were all great.โ
โThe hosts, Judy and Dale, are fantastic! We enjoyed talking with them the evening that we arrived, and hearing the history of how Cupola Inn B & B came to be, almost 28 years ago! The breakfast that Judy made for us in the morning was delicious. We chose to eat it, family style, with the other guests in the Round Barn, which was another fun experience! We would have also loved to float down part of the Winnebago River with Dale during our stay, but unfortunately the river was too high and fast...
