"It was a stopover on a long road trip. It was a very hot day and we were given a room where the air-con did not work. We got a fan but very noisy. Breakfast was fairly disorganized. Dinner was great, local fare well prepared and tasty."

"It’s a great location but in late June 2023 when we stayed there were so many flies around the food. And the staff did little to protect the food in the breakfast buffet area from them. Apart from the flies it was a wonderful location. "

"We had a friendly greeting on arrival and our room was very clean and the bed comfortable with crisp white bedding. Nice modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. The hotel is ideally located for visiting the town and one of the main squares is outside the building. Unfortunately, despite the windows being triple glazed, the noise from outside was loud. We would have enjoyed dinner at the hotel but the restaurant was closed that evening."

"Friendly and helpful staff, a fairly basic but comfortable room and a good breakfast made this a great choice for an overnight stay. The parking was easy. It is a 15 minute walk from the town centre and there is no restaurant in the hotel. Other eating opportunities nearby are limited. "

"Very attractive old French hotel, nice change from a souless chain hotel. Warm welcome, beautiful building and dining room. The appearance from the outside was like a Parisian hotel, the view from the bedroom was magical with a tree lined street in full blossom. The decor was a little tired in places but the ambiance made up for it."
