"Before booking know exactly what you are getting into. No phone connection or internet. 90 minute drive in a van from parking up the mountain to the lodge. All meals are eaten collectively, which is great for meeting interesting people. But guests are 90 percent Québécois and enjoy socialising in French. This is a place to do 2 hikes per day. Lots if variety for expert to advanced intermediate hikers. Less for less advanced hikers. Food is excellent. Guides are wonderful "

"Our host Deroy was personable, friendly, and easy to work with. And ee loved the property location: historic lighthouse within walking distance, the Gulf of St Lawrence right across the street, and Forillon NP just 9 minutes away. We enjoyed sitting outside every evening to watch the waters and Cap Gaspe on the background. "

"We spent a night in this motel. It was good. A shopping center is just opposite. The service was great. The lady was helpful though busy with cleaning other rooms. A Nespresso machine was available as well as an ironing machine. There wa set (not working in our room) and a window AC. All in all, it was satisfactory for the night."
