Le super séjour
We had an unexpected, amazing stay at La Grande Maison Mazamet! Passing through France, hoping to find some nice places away from the major tourist attractions, and we most certainly did. Both the nice surroundings of Mazamet and the beautiful La Grande Maison. Great spacy rooms, nicely decorated. Excellent service and very friendly owners.
Only downside was the lack of AC since it was quite hot this time of year, but the nice pool almost made up for it.

Very bad cost benefits relationship
Beautiful old house but with limited comfort : shower water gets cold very fast, weak heat in the room , difficult parking in the street in some periods of the day (Sunday for example) and very poor breakfast. Extra charge for cheese , ham and eggs for instance (we were not expecting this even more being in France where we had another great experiences in other hotels in the region)
Very bad cost benefits relationship overall.

A step back in time in 5 Star Luxury
A small 5 room boutique feeling, fully renovated 18th Century Manson. Modern clean, updated spacious rooms inside this grand old home was a unexpected surprise because the exterior is so unassuming. Superb hosts/ owners went out of their way to help. The swimming pool a perfect escape from 38C French summer heat. Meals available on the Terrace AND there’s a dog!

Chambre spacieuse, propre, calme. Le diner a été succulent (j'aurai bien léché mon assiette....). Le personnel est très accueillant, à l'écoute et serviable. Facilite de ce darer devant la grand maison.

Petit sejour très agréable, tres bien dormi dans la chambre de manon . Les propriétaires à l écoute et tres serviables ( ils nous ont laissé un petit déjeuner car nous partions a 6h). Ils nous ont tres bien conseillé sur le restaurant du soir : bar a vin
