Mazunte is full of dirty hippies. Everything is shuttered in the morning and doesn’t get rolling until later. The beach is very average. And Mazunte is not really ‘in huatulco’ like Expedia leads you to believe. Its an hour and 20 mins in a cab down a windy road from the central ‘huatulco’ area and la Crucecita.
