“We’ve had a lovely stay with Raincliffe. Very welcoming hosts, happy to chat and share useful information. We had a really comfortable stay in a lovely room, with a much needed fan!
Excellent coffee and breakfast. Would highly recommend. We booked a concert at the Open Air Theatre and walked there and back. Thank you for hosting, we had a great weekend.”
“Friendly staff. Room was clean. It’s located in the city centre easy to walk around the shops and beaches. It’s on a hill, so one must walk down steps to the beach or take a tram. Food in town was not ideal: I tried a few based on reviews or recommendations, but was disappointed. Parking in town is a nightmare. The hotel provided on street parking £5/night, but it’s difficult to find a spot. There are some lovely shops around the corner, some antiques and soaps, where worth a visit.”
“Large room with all the basics. Old building but clean . Street noise could be heard.
Good location/ easy to walk to from train and to get around.
Staff were were efficient.”
“The location of the property is good if you don't mind walking. The parking permit given to allow parking in certain zones is very good. Although if busy can be difficult to find a space but that is nothing the owners can control. The room was clean.
We had the small double room. It is very compact. The bed seems very small for a double and is pushed against a wall, not ideal when 2 people are sleeping in it. The shower was small too. You can hear the conversations in the next room.

“My second stay in as many weeks. Room was a good size, bed was really comfortable. Greeted by a friendly bloke on reception who gave me my key. Good supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk sachets in the room. Brilliant location for the cricket ground as well asbthebtown centre. All in all good, can't fault it with the competive prices”
