Safe clean cheap

We just need a safe clean place for a good price and it was exactly what we needed. We pulled in slept and left in the morning. Would stay again for the type of stay we needed .

We booked this motel last minute and stayed only one night. The rooms are outdated and need a major renovation. It’s a cheap motel, but there are better and cheaper alternatives nearby, like Motel 6. The beds were good, but the room itself was in need of an update. It had a stove and a fridge, but the condition was poor.

This motel is great value for the budget conscious traveller. The beds are clean and fairly comfortable. The road outside thr motel is busy in the morning so it is loud. The clerk at check in was friendly and helpful.

Renos

The new orders have done some renos. Room had a new sink and vanity. A new refrigerator and the air conditioning was New too. They also installed those lights that allow you to plug in your USB and Usbc chargers so that was also super helpful. It looks like they also painted pretty recently. So things are moving the right direction that's for sure.

New Owner Doing Reno

The room i stayed in had an entirely new sink/vanity as well as a new fridge and air conditioner. They also dotched those awful brass swing out lamps by the beds with modern ones.. . Complete with electical plug in, usb plug and even a c charger. Its not the ritz, but they are making strides ro update and modernize it. Something else has been done every time I stay it seems like.

Customer service was great! Super friendly and professional. The room however left a lot to be desired. The floors under the bathroom sink were very dirty, there were crumbs around both beds, I found a used tissue on the floor beside one of the beds and the shower sprayed water all over the ceiling. Rooms are pretty outdated and just didn't feel clean or well maintained.

You pay for what you get

It's a very old motel in need of renovation. The checkin was terrible. The clerk couldn't find my reservation. Every hotel in Brooks were booked. Once he found it, I was informed no room was assigned to me. It took over 1 hr to sort it out. The room was dirty, with dust on the dishes, i had to clean the fridge and microwave before using them, the bath tub was disgusting, no hairdryer in the room and I had to ask for a remote for the TV as none was not in the room. At least the bed sheets were clean and the bed comfortable.

The place is under New Management. They have started to add small modern touches to the rooms: think lamps with charging ports for both USB and C cords. It is definately a motel, but little things like that really help a trip there go smooth.
