Unsure what the funny smell was, if the cutlery was dirty? this will be followed up by management, outside lights on for security purposes and some light does seep, not flood, into room. These comments are more useful at the time of your stay rather than after you have left so any issues can be addressed at the time.

Glad to see you enjoyed our beautiful location! Sorry about the bed ... but it's a "Goldilocks" situation... it clearly wasn't "just right" but was it too hard? Too soft? We encourage all to let us know issues while still on site - we'd love to do something to assist when we can. Hopefully you'll find it better on your next visit! Thanks for the feedback!

Unless the buildings were torn down there is little more that we can do to update our rooms and our landlord would not agree to this.

Yes we advertise as 3 star. Your room rate was $95 per night - this is a cheap room priced according for 3 star. The rooms are not tired as they have just been freshly painted, new headboard installed and new doonas & blankets. Beds are of a high grade and hardness/softness is just a personal choice. We had just fixed the dripping shower prior to your arrival so perhaps this did not work, however, you never told me of this problem. Windows have no curtains???? This is just not true. When the door would not lock we upgraded you to a new room for the remainder of your stay. Therefore, YOU DID NOT HAVE A DRIPPING SHOWER FOR YOUR ENTIRE STAY as you were not in the same room!!!!! You were supposed to arrive for 3 nights. The first night you called me and said you were feeling unwell and could not make it. I told you no problem you could come the next day and we would adjust for you. You then called again and said you were still unwell and were calling an ambulance. "No problem", I said, "you can come when you are feeling better and we will work it all out for you". Then you called again and said you were now feeling better and would be coming. You then arrived on the 2nd day and we moved you on the 3rd day due to the door lock issue. Door lock was working fine before your arrival. We upgraded you to a queen room with spa bath due to this problem. You then told me you were going to leave a day early and I told you that we would give you a free night on your next stay. Then you rang me again to say that you would now like to return for the third night. We did a room service on your room and then you called again to say you had now changed your mind due to your friends change of plans. You apologised profusely for this and I said no problem. However, I then had to pay my staff extra to then clean your room which we had already serviced for you. You asked if you could still have a free night on your next stay and I said no problem. Well you can forget about your free night. If you were so unhappy with your accommodation then why do you want to return anyway.
