This was taken at the so called 'Turtle Reef' from the Hagern boat we stayed on. It's a free trip sometimes offered to guests on Meeru in the North Male atoll.
Highly recommend it if you get a chance!

From the time we landed to the time we were escorted back, I cannot tell or express how awesome everything was, the people, hospitality, food, facilities, activities, cleanliness, room amenities & quality - all superb and rival if not excel the other more well known resorts. "Lovely, bright hotel in a gorgeous location! Stunning views all around. Mainly for a romantic get away. String WiFi but not exactly business friendly. The food is really good! But not worth half-board or full-board prices. No alcohol on this island (Huraa) but there's a day pass to a resort that does. Water activities can be organized, no problem. Best part was the staff for sure! Absolutely warm, attentive and competent. I was treated with respect; like a welcomed guest! There are 2 extra cafes near by if you're looking for a little someone different to eat. And there's an ATM at the pier. The hotel manager will get you set up with a ferry to and from. It's a little disorienting fitting out where to go and when after leaving the airport but it all worked out. There were some leaks and there are several signs of water damage but it's but really a problem. Shower is clean, strong and warm. Windows don't close and there's no bug zappers. Overall, it was really great experience for me."

"This is a fabulous resort we travelled as a couple to the Maldives expecting it to be a very quiet remote but beautiful location. We actually loved the music around the pool in the morning the activities such as aqua gym and 15 minutes free paddleboard there are families here young old the food is great with lots of variety and the cocktails arent sugar they are well made With the bar staff being really responsive to your needs meal times are great too. I would highly recommend this hotel if you fancy going to the Maldives but having a bit of entertainment whilst you are there too. The location is incredible, its only 15 minutes speedboat from the main land. Extra excursions are expensive, but if you were here for two weeks it would be worth planning a few in. "
