Perfect Boutique Hotel

Excellent Hotel

The Doms hotel is a fantastic base to explore Mellieha and Gozo from. The hotel is spotless and because of its size feels extra special. Would highly recommend.

The location is fabulous if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay in a historic location, without the crowds but close enough to the Main Street for eating, shopping, etc. The property itself is quietly luxurious with everything you need for a short stay and very friendly staff.

Our room was lovely.. The balcony although small overlooked the main square which was a bonus. Breakfast was good and staff helpful. The only negative was poor water pressure meaning the water flow in the shower was weak and not very hot.

Very nice boutique hotel on a cute little square. I had the toproom with jacuzzi and it was excellent! The view on the terrace is amazing, I definitely recommend this room for a full experience. Service was great, I had a free late check-out till 12 and I could store my luggage after check-out. One tiny thing is that I did not receive the codes beforehand, but it was really easy to contact them.

Lovely area right next to the Parish Church of Mellieha. Staff were amazing, we had a power cut one evening which was quickly rectified. Nothing we asked for was to much trouble. Really nice breakfast 👍 can't recommend enough.

Our room was really nice. The shower was big enough for 2 people. Most powerful flushing toilet in all the rooms we stayed out. Great breakfast included - so much food! Fantastic location.

We stayed here with friends. A beautiful hotel. Great location. Rooms were clean and comfortable with everything you could need. We were told where we could get extra tea/coffee extra if we ran out of anything. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent little hotel

Had a lovely stay at DOMS, it only has about 9 rooms over 3 floors. Reception is only manned in the day, but that didn’t cause a problem. Breakfast was amazing & served at the Square Gastro bar across the road. It was a lovely quiet square. One road down (some steps) there are lots of restaurants, all less than a 10 minute walk. Would definately return 😁

A hidden gem in the middle of a small square. Doms restaurant was fantastic alongside the Square bistro bar. Borislav was very welcoming and friendly. Room was spotlessly clean and spacious. Great views from the rooftop pool and small room balcony. We will defiantly return!

Good hotel, lovely staff, but overpriced for quali

Positives: The hotel is well decorated. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Located next to the cathedral. Negatives: poor breakfast (limited choices and not good quality). WE booked a room with a jacuzzi but couldn't use it as the water was extremely cold and heating it up would have taken hours. The shower pressure was very low. Location can be an issue as it's uphill from the sea if you want to go to the seaside.

Most wonderful hotel and staff. We stayed in the Paradise room and it is just beautiful! The DOMS restaurants food is just done to perfection, definitely recommend eating there. There is a lovely restaurant & lounge The Core 1minute walk for fabulous cocktails and dining also. Rebekah's restaurant is a short 12 min walk away which is in theMichelin guide and fantastic and a must. If you go to Gozo and need a lovely beach restaurant and bar head to Terazzo for a great meal and drinks by the sea. Over all DOMS is a perfect setting on a beautiful square and easy access to get anywhere on the island.

We have just returned from a week in Malta staying at Doms Boutique Mellieha and we have a wonderful time. We used the airport transport booked via the hotel which worked very well and good value for money our driver recommended lots of places for us to go and eat locally which was really appreciated. We arrived late to the hotel but were provided with all the information on how to check in. We had the private hot tub luxury double and it was lovely, only thing to note for us would be maybe another waedrobe as there is plenty space for one. Breakfast was across the square and was excellent too. Cant fault Doms any slight niggles we had (very minor and not worth noting) were dealt with immediately. We will be back.

A beautiful Maltese boutique hotel.

A beautifully presented traditional Maltese limestone house containing just 8 bedrooms. The decor and interior design is exceptional and definitely worth a stay. We were checked in swiftly and after that, left to our own devices as the Reception isn't manned out of a short number of hours, so access to the property and the rooms are all by individual key coded pads. It was quiet and the room rate included breakfast, which was a strange set up as it appears the chef just makes the menu up each day. A choice of omelette or quiche is not on my breakfast list and it was difficult to find out what was actually available as there's no menu. My partner asked for bacon and eggs and I asked for a crêpe with fresh fruit and yoghurt. The pancakes (American) were cold and I was informed there was no yoghurt so the chef put jam on! I should have been informed before he took that decision. All in all, we enjoyed the hotel room but Mellieha isn't going to be a place we are likely to return to. There wasn't enough to occupy us in the town and we're not great beach fans.
