โMendo Bungalow was a charming little stop on our road trip. It was cozy and clean. Loved that there was a fan in the room. We felt safe enough to leave the windows open. Very close to downtown area where there is amazing views and charming shops/restaurants. โ
โI thought the price was reasonable. But they forgot to mention it doesn't include the restroom.
So I paid around $30 more to get restroom includedโฆ LOLZ
And no TV. in the hotel!!!
The lady who works front desk said no elevator to go upstairs with big luggages.โ
โWe love the 2 big rooms connected as one big house. We love the woody property that is very close to downtown Mendocino. Very quiet and safe. The unit that we got needs a few upgrades. The carpet has to go. The other units have hardwood floors. The wifi is weaker at night, u cant watch anything. Same goes w the cellphone signal, cant make a phone call not surf the internet even if you used your own data. The staff were very friendly and front desk personnel were quick to response. โReally comfortable stay overlooking pudding creek with the beach a very short drive. Not far to the glass beach and restaurants in town as recommended by the staff. Would stay here again โ
โGrounds are beautiful. Almost every room has a fairly open view of the ocean. There are plenty of chairs spread around the grounds for relaxing with a glass of wine. The rooms are tastefully done and have very comfortable beds and linens. The restaurant attached to the property has a somewhat limited menu but everything we got tested great. Hope to come back again someday! โ
โGreat helpful staff. Uniquely decorated rooms in historic property. Fantastic breakfast provided. Note that the house is 3 stories with no elevator. Not a problem for us, but others might want to keep this in mind if elderly or challenged. Easy walk to beach trail to a beautiful State Park Beach.โ
