"When we checked in our A/C was out and it was 85 degrees in our room. Staff was very quick and efficient with immediately moving us to a new upgraded room. We received a grocery delivery while we were there and the front desk had it brought to our door before I even knew the order had been delivered. We always enjoy our stay at the Westin. Perfectly located for ballgames and the staff is top notch "

"Disappointed. Is an understatement. We’ve stayed here a handful of times over the last couple of years and this visit was certainly our last. The hotel room was nasty and falling apart. Bathtub hardware (faucet, handles, shower head) literally popped out of the wall about 2 inches when I turned on the water. A photo frame fell off the bathroom wall at the same time this happened and shattered right next to my bare foot. None of the surfaces were clean. Towels and bedding were stained. Headboards were covered in nasty splatters and handprints. And outside window wouldn’t close!! It stayed open about 5 inches, which was extremely significant! The hot tub smelled awful and when we finished and got to the room, it was obvious how badly we smelled of all that same nastiness. The washer and dryer required quarters but the front desk had none… and they didn’t have any suggestions where to get some, when I inquired. The room was super affordable and I now understand why. This hotel has gone to SH. I will not return. Which is unfortunate because they had a lot of business from us in the past. "

"Overall great place, great location particularly if you visit Newport on the Levee. Only detail we didn’t care for was how thin the walls seemed. We could hear our neighbor’s TV late into the night and early in the morning. Aside from that, it was great. "

"No hair dryer in room as advertised. Ice makers hard to find. Self parking advertised was hard to find for hotel. Ended up in valet for hotel marked. "
