"Don't let the pictures fool you--this place is a dump. The laminate in the hallways is buckled and the whole atrium (pool area) was closed due to standing water. The first room we got stunk badly. The second room had filthy sheets and we had to take them off and bring them to the front desk to have them changed. The room itself was ok enough except for some staining on the walls. This was probably a nice hotel in its day but its day is past. The breakfast was a row of tables with a few things set out in the corner of the bar that looks like it has been closed for a while. This could have been a temporary setup due to the closed and musty atrium. We asked for an extra blanket and they said they didn't have any. The positives were that the staff was friendly enough and we didn't see any bedbugs! "

"Have stayed at this location before, it seems that this time there was some storm damage (roof leaks, giant fans in halls) to this location making it look a little rougher around the edges this time. Both times I have stayed now, the elevators were all covered in paper like there was construction. Could be a coincidence but seemed odd. Was disappointed that the bar/restaurant area wasn't open while we were there either. Staff was very friendly, which has been the case both times. Just seems the hotel needs some general maintenance to be done. "
