Originally we were planning on staying out at one of the usual hotels along I-75. And we’re so happy we detoured slightly from I-75. We’ll be back!

The room, location, and staff were perfect. The only reason it didn't receive five stars is that if you are staying for a day and there is an event or conference, it may be impossible to find parking. The morning food option in the cafe was lackluster.

You can spend an afternoon studying the exhibits at Micanopy Historical Society Museum during your trip to Micanopy. Amble around the area's lakeside or attend a sporting event.
Enjoy a stop at Micanopy Cemetery, a landmark worth seeing in Micanopy. Stroll along the lakeside or attend a sporting event in the area.
You can take time to visit Price's Scrub State Park during your travels to Micanopy. Stroll along the lakeside or experience the area's festivals.

The Blue Highway is always a staple on our trips up to Micanopy! We love the town and the area.
Sad that a hotel/motel of this low quality is among such a peaceful town.
Such a shame that an Old Florida town has to have such an eyesore of a place to stay. Sad :(
