"Staff was friendly, rooms could be brighter with lights and a tad updated but honestly it was a nice hotel"

"Our stay was very good. We brought our pup, as we have in the past. The hotel is so accommodating to us. The pantry had goodies for animals too, never seen that before in a hotel. Tyler, acting manager for our stay, absolutely great! He helped us navigate some things that we were not sure about. The best breakfast buffet ever! The ladies worked very hard to keep everything stocked. Clean room, clean lobby, great choices at the little pantry that is in the front lobby. We come to Home2byHilton every time we make a drive into Anchorage."

"The staff was great, the room a nice and updated. The breakfast situation is a little odd. You pay separately for it, then you get a voucher to use that you give at the end. Its very small and self serve, but then you "pay" a staff member at the end, that you have a tip option for. They do get you your drinks, but honestly... its all right there and you can get it yourself. That was the only odd thing, and its not convenience if you on the go, you have to sit down and they take your drink order, then you have to wait to pay."

"Any Hyatt hotel will always be my first choice for my staycations. Hyatt Place has always been good to me. Stayed here a few times & have never had a problem. Check-in is always smooth. Room is just right. Noise level is minimal. Breakfast is always fulfilling, maybe add some flavored creamers (that would be great). All in all, I’ve no complaints. "

"Hotel overall is beautiful. Room is so spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great. "

"We were swimming in the pool, then a group of 18 local people were let in by a staff member. They were dressed in street clothes, brought towels from home, and since the group was so large we were pushed out of the pool. Very disheartening for paying $500+ for the weekend and unable to utilize the pool because a staff member let their family and friends in. They also do not provide daily housekeeping (clean towels, beds made, etc) during a 3 day stay. There are also a TON of homeless people around the property so ensure your vehicles are locked at night, otherwise they will absolutely be rummaged through. "
