โWe were pleasantly surprised by this property, and wished that our travel itinerary was such that we could have stayed more than just one night. Beth, the innkeeper, is personable and tends to every detail. The property is lovely and peaceful. Great dining options just a walk away, train to the city around the corner, and a lovely neighborhood to walk around and revel in the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright. Highly recommended inn. We shall reurn.โ
โThe first room smelled like stinky mold in the room on 4th floor. The hotel changed my room to 7th floor. The window in the room wouldnโt open, and the very noise from the air conditioning unit was very loud. In addition to the noise from the machine, there was also the loud sound of a heater. When I increased the room temperature, the heater would turn on, making both the machine noise and heater noise louder together. It was so noisy that even when I turned them off, the machine noise still...
โThis hotel was so quaint and historic. Parking was tough, but we didnโt get in until after midnight, so go figure. Very clean, friendly staff. Iโd definitely stay here again. โ
โI had a lovely stay. The property is beautiful and peaceful, with great ambience. Our room was a great size and the staff were amicable. One aspect of the room I found unpleasant was the settings of the mini fridge because they only run for 2 hour periods at a time. Any leftovers risk spoilage if not manually and continuously set to chill, which is highly inconvenient, especially when storing food overnight. โ
