Milford is a nice town to hang out in with many places to shop, dine and visit historical sites and lovely architecture on every street and John Wallace House is the perfect place to stay. Close to center of town, lovely bedrooms, delicious breakfast included on antique china. Innkeepers lovingly restored this gem of a house.

It was very clean and the hosts were very accommodating. The breakfasts were truly delicious with beautiful presentation- poached pears with pomegranate, blueberry pancakes, bacon and scones with clotted cream and lemon curd. The John H Wallace House is the oldest historic house in Milford. Our host was friendly and knowledgeable and gave us a tour of the whole beautiful house!! The house has been newly renovated!! The bathroom and shower were gorgeous! The breakfast was outstanding and even had homemade scones, clotted cream and lemon curd served on beautiful china!! It was truly a home away from home!

Tremendous new BnB we highly recommend!

We had a wonderful overnight stay at The John Wallace BnB. The owners are fabulous hosts and the newly renovated building is beautiful. Our room was very comfortable and the common areas were lovely. The BnB's location is wonderful, too. It's within walking distance of the town center and the building is actually part of the town's historic building self tour. Be sure to factor in time for their tremendous breakfast! John is an awesome breakfast cook and breakfast here will give you a great start for your day. We highly recommend staying here!

An amazing stay at John Wallace House! The property has been completely renovated for comfort and key period design. Breakfast was great. Wonderful restoration of historic property. The rooms are very nicely furnished. Would, however, choose a room not directly at the front of home on first floor as the traffic noice is somewhat of a distraction when trying to sleep. Would not recommend “Adeline” room for this reason. All other rooms should be fine in terms of for mentioned traffic noice. But would highly recommend this wonderful stay.
