Great location and experience.

In the absolute center of the Miltenberg old village. Hotel building from year 1508, renovated with great care. Nice rooms. Quite a memory.

Quick one-night stay

Quaint hotel in the center of town. The room definitely played into the history of the town, sticking to the exposed timbers and cozy feel. The bathroom however looked BRAND new, which was appreciated.

Hotel Schmuckkastchen is in a perfect location in Miltenburg. It is in a 15c half timbered building, directly beneath the schloss with an accessible hiking trail. Overall, we had a very nice stay and would go back. Our main concern is that the hotel expects check-in no later than 6pm.which was a problem for our itinerary and we had to race like mad to arrive by 6:05pm as it takes time to find the hotel in the town if you miss the turn onto Hauptstrasse. We had to call and were told there would be an additional charge if we arrived after 6:10pm. Parking is in a town lot, and we were directed to a lot that was not the closest lot to the hotel which was annoying. Also, the breakfast is very nice but you need to order it and they bring a prepared plate. It would have been easier just to order the eggs and just set the rolls, cheese, and other breakfast items on a table so people can just help themselves. But the breakfast was very good in any case.

Wir haben 2 Nächte im Hotel verbracht und waren wirklich total enttäuscht, da das Hotel ein wunderschönes, historisches Gebäude ist. Der Zustand des Zimmers war aber katastrophal: alles in den 80er Jahren letztmals renoviert und sehr runtergekommen. Was uns richtig geärgert hat, dass das Zimmer (insbesondere das Bad) nicht sauber war. Wir hätten uns ja auch beschwert, aber die Rezeption war nie besetzt… Für den Preis eine Frechheit!

Liebevoll geführtes Fachwerkhotel in sehr zentraler Lage. Einrichtung eher barok, jedoch es funktioniert alles. Glockengeläut alle viertel Stunde von der direkt daneben stehenden Kirche zu hören.

Uma volta ao tempo na simplicidade

Hotel em prédio antigo, simples e histórico, numa área nobre da cidade de características medievais. A localização é perfeita. Proporciona uma estadia com relativo conforto, sem luxo, e uma volta ao tempo. Cama boa, banheiro bom e quarto pequeno. Isso com base na unidade 31. Café da manhã bom, com escolha no cardápio do que é de sua preferência. Atendimento bom mas não com muita simpatia. Recomendo mas não deixe de comparar com outras opções que tenham instalações internas mais atualizadas.
