I was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom towels. They appeared to have been used and simply refolded, with visible hair on them. This is completely unacceptable and falls well below the basic hygiene standards expected of a hotel. I was also very unhappy about the parking charges. I stayed at the hotel for less than 12 hours but was charged £10 for 24 hours of parking. This is unreasonable, particularly as I was an overnight guest at the hotel. Guests who are paying to stay at the property should not have to pay additional charges for parking, especially when free parking is available in other areas of Milton Keynes. The combination of poor cleanliness and additional parking costs made my experience disappointing. I expected a much higher standard of hygiene, service and value for money. The hotel should review both its housekeeping standards and its parking policy to ensure guests are treated fairly.

The breakfast was excellent however I had To clean the breakfast table myself & watch painfully as staff picked up 2 glasses at a time & left the table unclean . The room ….. I found a.stain must be Tea on the top of the bed & then my partner found a Toe nail on the top of the duvet! The bed side lights did not work at all had to have main light on !

Lovely warm and friendly welcome. We were able to check in early as our room was available which made our plans for our stay so much more convenient. Our room was clean, well maintained and comfortable. There was a buzz about the hotel as we checked in as there was a game about to start in the stadium and we saw some very cute kids in their kits being taken down ready to be mascots. Breakfast was a great selection with a beautiful view out over the stadium. Excellent stay!

Staff were friendly and helpful during check-in, and even allowed me to check in early when I popped in to ask about dropping my bag off, which was much appreciated after a long journey. I’ve stayed here many times over the years and it’s always been my go-to when visiting my hometown, so it’s a shame to see it becoming rather tired. The decor is looking worn or stained in places, and a few things in the room didn’t quite live up to expectations. One of the soap dispensers fell off into the bath, there was no hairdryer, the mini fridge wasn’t keeping anything cold, and the window wouldn’t open. I was in room 2222, above what I believe was a delivery/recycling area, and was woken at around 6.30am by a door banging shut and metal cages being moved around. I appreciate some noise is unavoidable, but it did make for an early start! Overall, I feel the hotel is now more in line with a good 3-star than a 4-star, particularly given the condition and limited amenities. The £10 daily parking also feels a little steep. There are still positives: the bed was comfortable, the shower had excellent water pressure, the bath was a great size, and the air conditioning worked well. The full-size iron and ironing board were also a nice touch. Staff were friendly throughout and the location is very convenient for shopping. I’ve always enjoyed staying here, but I’ll probably try the Furzton Premier Inn next time I’m home. It’s nearby and has free parking, so may offer better value.

Room was very clean, the staff were extremely helpful, there was lots of different choices for breakfast and you could keep going back if you wanted to, the room had air conditioning in which was good as it was rather warm, the hotel gave you a code so you got car parking cheaper and there was plenty of spaces right outside the hotel and close by there were different shops and restaurants

Check in at the hotel was far to slow it took 50 minutes and started the experience off on the wrong foot however the young girl was very polite but just needed help. Surely the management must realise at check-in time they are going to be flooded with guests arriving and it wouldn't take much to put a few added employees at the desk for that initial hour. Overall the hotel was good and had no other issues.
