"Flooring in room was coming up every where. We didn’t even shower there it was too gross. I NEVER leave reviews for hotels but just had to say something about this place! It was desperation that we stayed we had been driving all day and it was late. Sheets looked clean but had stains on them. Will never stay here again. Front desk people were kind but that doesn’t make up for unmaintained facility"

"Two clean beds, clean bathroom. Super close to the Lake. Perfect for a fishing trip. It was all that a couple of simple fishermen needed for the 3- S’s & a place to rest. Nice tackle shop onsite also."

"The property is very rural and feels very safe. Parking is easy. The buildings are a little dated but well maintained. Everything was very clean and everything worked. The bed was comfortable. The room includes a coffee maker, a microwave, a mini-refrigerator, a large TV and WiFi. I particularly liked that the WiFi did not require a password. The large chain hotels and their password schemes usually wreak havoc with my employer's VPN requirement. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. If you have business in the Mineola-Quitman area and need a clean, reasonable place to stay, I recommend this motel."

"Although the room was cosmetically clean and nicely renovated, the smell of the disinfectant and whatever it was masking was overwhelming. I was not able to sleep the whole night through and had to leave early in the morning because of an allergic reaction to the smell. Also, this is NOT a hotel, it is a MOTEL. I was deceived by the false advertising."
