"This hotel is situated in a central area near the top of the stunning Ragusa Ibla, around tiny windy streets and steep steps, with stunning views over the Duomo and surrounding countryside. It really is a magical area and the hotel is a little oasis of calm. Nice big rooms and very clean. The breakfast was nice and the staff members were really helpful and friendly- couldn’t have asked for more!"

"All I can start with is WOW! Everything about Candellari19 is amazing. Francesca is the nicest host and made sure my stay was “tutto bene.” My room was very comfortable and was an especially welcome place to relax after walking up from the bottom of the hill in the serious Sicilian heat. As hot as it was, it was worth it to be in the old part of Modica, which is beautiful and really nice to explore. The location overall is fantastic - close to Castello di Conti and very easy to get to chocolate...

"A winding, narrow road: welcome to Ragusa. Although the room was off a main road the small markings made us second guess whether we were actually there or not. We were greeted by a very nice lady who checks you in, puts out the breakfast, and cleans the rooms. Up a flight of narrow stairs was our room and one other. Up another flight of stairs is the top floor where there are two more rooms and a small breakfast area. We are a family of four adults. We try to always get a quad room. This was...
