Truly recommend to stay at Chaullay Salkantay Hostel during your Salkantay trek. The place has exceeded our expectations (especially after other lodges during the trek). The rooms are a great standard and provide real comfort, they are clean with towels and soaps. We had a room with a private bathroom which was clean, convenient and with an amazing shower (all you wish for during the trek!). This was incredible. If you are looking for a 5 star resort this may not be for you , but if you want a real authentic experience with an incredible view , I mean incredible. (This is saying a lot as I am from Alaska and have a high level of expectation for views ) the family that runs the base camp and restraint were so sweet this was one of the most memorable stays I’ve had in my life. Can’t wait to plan my trip back here!

Del Pilar... AMAZING property surrounded by mountains (some snow-capped)! Although this hotel is about 15-20 minutes outside of Ollantaytambo, it's definitely worth staying outside of town with the great restaurant, super-friendly staff and beautiful, clean rooms. I would highly suggest staying in the 2-bedroom condos, which are really awesome!

This hotel is literally steps away from the entrance of Machu Picchu, which means you can easily catch both sunrise and sunset at the site, as well as leave and re-enter. The staff is truly exceptional. Rodolfo and Erving were incredibly helpful, considerate and accommodating. After reading reviews of Aguas Calientes in general, I was leery of the accommodations available. This was so inaccurate! The town is much better than what I read, and this hotel was the best one yet! (Better than Cuzco, Lima, and Ollantaytambo) The bed was bigger than my king at home. That alone made me smile when I walked in. I highly recommend this hotel. We stayed for three nights and loved it. It actually felt like a vacation.

We were upgraded from the MAi P to the main Inkaterra property when we arrived. The grounds were incredible we saw a rare birds from the Jacuzzi and the general layout of the grounds and casitas was beautiful and otherworldly. Great property, highly recommend.

This place was magical! Within walking distance to the train station. It's a super small town and there are no cars. The hotel can arrange for someone to meet you at the train station and assist with carrying luggage. There are a lot of shops and great restaurants so get lost and have fun! Note that some of the outdoor restaurants charge a 'service fee'. One of the restaurants we stumbled upon had horrible service and they slipped us that service fee so just ask. TIPS...the buses to Machu...

I highly recommend this hotel. I would stay here again. We were here for Machu Picchu. Excellent stay. Had a room on the 4th floor over the river. The river is kind of loud, but great windows so it seemed more like a "white noise" in the background which was quite nice actually. Despite its proximity to the station, we could not hear any train at all from our side. There is a train that passes literally 5 feet in front of the hotel so get the river side if possible. This hotel was absolutely amazing. We walked in dirty and dusty from 4 days on the Inka trail and they immediately warmly welcomed us with refreshments and comfortable seating as they checked us in from their lobby couches instead of standing at the counter!
