This family owned business treated us like family! They even made us a to go breakfast when we had birding tours meeting at 6 am! We would stay there again!

Great Stay Near Monteverde Downtown

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The location is good - walking distance from Monteverde downtown, which made it easy to explore shops, restaurants, and local attractions. The room was spacious, very clean, and had a beautiful high ceiling that made it feel even more open and comfortable. I also appreciated the quality breakfast each morning—fresh and satisfying! Overall, a great value and a peaceful place to stay. I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the Monteverde area.

Lovely option close to Monteverde

The hotel and rooms are brand new and extremely clean. Delicious breakfast and kind staff. Restaurants and a shop market can be reached on foot. To get to Sant Elena city center, you have to walk 15 minutes or a short ride by car.

Very warm 2 days. Rooms became very hot and with only a fan took a long time to cool down, no a/c. Windows needed to be open, road noise was loud. Good breakfast.

Amazing hosts and a true gem in Monteverde

I had a wonderful two-night stay at the Natura hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, exactly as described. The hosts were definitely the highlight, assisting us in booking a fantastic cloud forest tour with an excellent guide one day in advance. The restaurant recommendations from Daniela were spot-on, and the homemade jam at breakfast was a delicious touch. Highly recommend!

Sparkly clean family owned property. Easy check-in. great location for getting to any of the Cloud Forrest adventures. Price was amazing! While we didn't need it, our room was handicapped accessible. Even breakfast was excellent. The family that runs it was really kind and gave us a late check out so we could spend a little more time at the park. Really appreciated the experience.

Natura hotel was perfect for our stay in the Monte Verde area. Clean, comfortable accommodations with a splendid breakfast provided each morning. We felt very comfortable in the area and there were nice dining options and a small grocery store within easy walking distance. Daniella and Cesar were most attentive and accommodating; providing quick response to any questions we had regarding the Monteverde area Daniela was very helpful with recommendations of activities in the area. This is a wonderful new 4 room hotel in the Monteverde area. It’s a family run business, whose hospitality, kindness, along with great service will make you feel right at home. The breakfast is wonderful and made to order. The property and rooms are clean and specious. Short walk to several restaurants and market. They also can arrange activities and tours in the area or else where for you. So helpful when your itinerary has holes or changes.

Natura was an excellent place to stay. Everything was new, modern, and comfortable. Parking was also not up a steep hill and the hotel was easy to get to. Daniela and Cesar were exceptional hosts! They went above and beyond when we needed to book tours. They were super accommodating when our plans changed and helped us modify our tours. It’s about a 15 min walk to the city center (Santa Elena), which was not bad. Very close to a few miradors for sunset views. I would definitely stay here again.

Very helpful family run hotel

The family running the hotel were very helpful and attentive. A couple of minor issues were very quickly dealt with. The room, while nicely appointed had nowhere to hang any wet clothes, or coats. The location is good and it is a very peaceful place to be. There are dining options nearby, but it is a little out of the main commercial area of Monteverde. The nearby sights are very good. Breakfast was much appreciated.

GOOD: The people there were helpful, the breakfasts were good, the room was clean, and they provide 2 free beer cans and 2 water bottles. BAD: The walls are very thin so we could hear everything in the room next door. Also, the property is located right next to the main road so we heard the motorcycles riding by at all hours of the night. UGLY: You cannot put used toilet paper in the toilet.

The rooms are very spacious and clean. The hotel is owned by a couple and they are very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was delicious and they give you options but must be ordered the day before so that they have all ingredients. The location was great had a lot of restaurants and stores walking distance close. It also wasn't too far from the cloud forest. The reason why I'm rating the room low is that it does not have either an AC or a ceiling fan. The weather is hot and humid and that makes it hard to sleep at night. It does have a window and we opened that which gave it a little bit of air but the problem was that since its on the main road you hear the traffic and all the noises at night. Of course AC would be great but even with just a ceiling fan it would have been ok. We only stayed here one night and would only recommend one night for a quick stay.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Natura Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff was beyond helpful and made us feel right at home. Recommendations for activities were extensive and arranged by the staff themselves. This was especially helpful as our previously arranged excursions had to be cancelled due to travel delays. Recommendations for dining were spot on and we had our two favorite Costa Rican meals in Monteverde. The breakfast provided by the staff was freshly prepared, outstanding, and fueled us for our day. We can’t wait to come back in the future! 5 !!!

Lovely accommodation. Spacious and clean. Consideration has been given to what a traveller needs - towel; toiletries and coffee. The layout of the room was ideal and spacious and I liked the addition of Tv and access to Netflix. Hotel Natura’s location is perfectly placed and only a short 10 minute walk to town but with restaurants and a shop 2 minutes away in the other direction. This is a family hotel and it was the staff that made it for me….so welcoming and friendly. Breakfasts were excellent and offered in a separate building but adjacent to the rooms. Five stars from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Natura Hotel was a perfect spot for our few days in Monteverde. Daniella and Cesar made our stay wonderful by giving lots of suggestions of places to eat and things to do. The gallo pinto we had each morning was the best we had during our stay in all of Costa Rica! Highly recommend staying here!
