My Hotel Stay

I enjoyed the overnight stay but they need new pillows and it's been up graded but can use some touch up in painting the doors and better continental breakfast. The location was close to where I had to go.

Great beds. Disappointing breakfast bar.

Staff was attentive. Excellent beds. Average rooms and decor. If you want breakfast they offer coffee, hot water, milk, juice, breads, cereal, instant oatmeal. No waffles or other hot food like other Days Inn.

Good pet-friendly hotel

We stayed at this hotel as we evacuated from hurricane Milton. Love that they welcomed our pets. The staff were all very caring and helpful. We had a microwave and mini fridge in the room, and breakfast (fresh coffee, toast, cereal) in the lobby in the mornings.The only reason for 4 stars was that there is no elevator, also 3 reasonably intelligent adults couldn't figure out how to switch the water flow from tub to the shower. But for the price, this was a good place to stay.There were shops, restaurants, etc. within easy drive.

Served its purpose

The hotel was easy to get to and find. Everything was fine with our check in. Super easy and quick. The beds were comfortable enough for a night stay on the way to our destination. Paint was wearing off the unterior of our room door and the vathroom door. The toilet turned significantly and was not properly seated down. There were some hairs on the shower wall when I got in. Lastly the hot water was tepid at best. I highly doubt we would stay here again should we ever need to.

Safe, quiet, convenient access, easy parking… The property is not maintained…the parking was full of cars and people were in and out which means there is income to spend in upgrading and maintaining the rooms Toilet flush running all night, when reported to the front desk they wanted to know if it flushes or not!!! wall and doors paint chipped all over, especially the connecting doors, some towels looked like never washed (just folded and put back), shower ceiling with open dry wall patches, no phone access in Room 105 and the one in Room 107 not functional, breakfast consisted of toast, cheerios, oat meal and condiments! For $95 a room we could have done much better!

I wouldn’t stay here again. The smell of marijuana in the lobby was ridiculous. We literally were in the room for 5 hours to sleep and I felt like my clothes reeked of it. The area seemed a little sketchy. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The area they can’t change but they need to stop smoking pot in the back. The smell is disgusting and I felt like the place could have been raided for drugs at any moment. Price wasn’t bad but you get what you pay for.

Where's the Elevator???

Staying at the Days Inn in Montgomery to evacuate due to Hurricane Helene. The Hotel staff could not have been nicer or kinder. They were all very attentive, polite and helpful. Where things go downhill for this facility is the maintenance and upkeep. Also, and this is a huge one for some people, there is no elevator!!! This is really important in this day and age. Especially ADA rules and compliance. Maybe some of the big wigs at Days Inn Corporate could chip in a few thousand each and buy these poor folks in Montgomery an elevator. Oh, and the pool is filled in with cement. I really don't know what to think about establishments like this. Maybe it's on it way out and they don't want to sink any money into this old a building. Whatever the corporate guys (and gals) decide about Montgomery, be sure to keep the staff at the hotel. They are the greatest asset you have there. (TP for KP)
