5/5 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay at the Pimalai. The airport transfer was seamless and well organized. Upon arrival, we received a welcome drink and were informed that they upgraded us to a beachside villa. The villa was spacious, very clean, and had wonderful indoor/outdoor features! I got a massage at the spa and it was excellent.
My only critique would be the food. Breakfast was good, but could be improved by trimming down the offerings and focusing on the freshness of buffet items. Unfortunately, I believe my husband got food poisoning from the smoked salmon (that was the only thing he ate that I did not). The three meals (other than breakfasts) that we ate at the hotel were okay, but did not seem worth the price. We found great food in the nearby village of Kantiang for the rest of the meals during our stay. We would highly recommend going to the local restaurants for lunch and dinner, only a short 10 min walk down the beach."
