Great stay for the price. Recent reviews spoke negatively about the indoor pool but it was clean and we enjoyed it! Rooms are basic and dated but you can’t beat it for the price, especially during football season

Surprised this place has so many bad reviews. Sure it’s a bit dated but that’s not really a huge issue in the grand scheme of things. Everything else was fine. People expecting 5 star resorts for 3 star hotel prices are stupid and annoying.

We were traveling unexpectedly with our wheelchair bound son. Unfortunately there were only 2 handicapped rooms, both occupied. Standard rooms are too tight even for the smallest of wheelchairs. The rooms were not serviced ( beds left unmade and the trash not emptied) The shower handle fell apart in my hands and a large metal bar fell off the elevator and laded on my son’s lap in his chair. He was not injured but unsettled. The elevator had not been cleaned in some time and doubtful the carpets were cleaned recently. A simple tea bag was not to be had. The rate was very reasonable and understandably so.

Very outdated. There wasn’t microwave or refrigerator in our room. Pool was closed due to a feces in the pool. They didn’t get rid of it until the next day.

It’s a bit outdated, but they did say they are going to refurbish the rooms this summer. Good stay if you’re a golfer or have a boat. Hiking is fine too. Not much else to do.

Dated but potential

The hotel itself was very dated. You could tell the focus was on the golf course. The parking area was a mess with tons of potholes and sporadic lighting. There wasn't a lamp or sufficient lighting in our room, the coffee maker was dirty and missing a part. Any kind of painting or carpet upgrades that were done to the room were not neat. Maybe my expectations were too high based on the ad and price. I feel like there is a lot of potential based on size and location but the property is pretty run down. I did hear that renovations are happening. I could imagine it was once a busy family resort.

We stayed here for a quick trip into town. The cost was pretty low, so I adjusted my expectations accordingly. The room had a rough, musty smell. Nothing was necessarily dirty, but it didn’t feel particularly clean. For example, there was a spider hanging out in its web in a corner. For the price we paid, it met our needs for the night.

This property is so very dated. It’s dark, looks do tired and worn. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean but we would never have booked it if we knew how old and tired the property was overall. A huge remodel is needed at this property. I would not represent them or use them until they do a major overhaul on the entire property.
