“I liked the roominess of the room and the two luggage holders so no one has to crawl around on the floor to open their suitcase. The shower was safe with two handles for getting in and out of the tub. The motel is located down Main St but far enough away from all the noise and traffic. Easy to get around town. Also located close to the hospital to visit someone.”
“I loved staying at this hotel!! Room was spacious, clean, and had plenty of coffee with a coffee machine. Complimentary breakfast of good quality was served in a nice and clean restaurant. The staff at the front desk was kind and helpful. If I have chances to go back to the Bar Harbor area, I'd definitely choose this hotel again. Highly recommendable. ”
“The cabin is new with retro-style decor. As we entered, we were pleasantly surprised by how clean it was. It was fully equipped with everything needed for our stay. It’s located in a nice spot.
Aaron is knowledgeable, and he provided detailed information about the places to visit in Acadia. The personal touch makes a difference. They serve breakfast with homemade pastries—yum! ”
“A friendly, family run inn. Very typical of old Maine style with cute wallpaper, wood floors, and old Maine charm. If you are looking for modern luxury this isn’t for you. However, if you want a lovely inn with a ton of charm and a great price on the island, then you won’t find better than the Harbourside. The bedroom was big with a very comfortable bed and lovely bed linens. It’s an easy walk to Northeast Harbor with excellent shopping and restaurants.”
“This motel is conveniently located near restaurants, mini golf, ocean access. It is clean and the staff is pleasant. It is very close to road on route 3, the main thorough fare between MDI, Bar Harbor, and the mainland. Unfortunately, it is getting shabby and rundown. ”

“The staff!! I hope the owners know what they have by having Christopher there! The cleaning staff stopped and said hi and asked if the room needed anything. Christopher was witty and right on with his recommendations of places to eat. The location was great, quiet but close to everything. Rooms were nice and comfortable. I would definitely recommend!!”
