"I am giving 5 stars because the stay exceeded expectations. Yes, the hotel is old and dated, but if you care about that then I doubt you are considering a Super 8 in the first place. The finishes in our room were dated but well-maintained, and our room and the hotel in general were clean. Notably, our bed and bedding were pretty high quality -- a pleasant surprise since we slept on some terrible beds elsewhere on our trip. I had low expectations for the free breakfast, figuring it would be little more than wonder bread and cornflakes, and was pleasantly surprised there also. There's a nice coffee machine with multiple options (e.g. latte, mocha), a pancake machine, and some hot food. Very respectable free hotel breakfast at this price point. Just so everyone knows, the hotel used to have a hot tub and some old reviews talk about it, but it is officially closed."
