"New property with clean well kept rooms. Several places to eat within walking distance. If someone were doing an extended stay the kitchenette would be very handy. Price was excellent for what we got. Our second floor view looked out on Mt Shasta."

Americana Modern Hotel

"Everything was welcoming and friendly from the lovely woman who checked us in to the spotless, nice-sized room with a comfortable king bed, microwave and small frig. Free parking. A few snacks and coffee/water are free in lobby. The air conditioner worked great too…always a plus during hot weather. Note that there is no pool or breakfast provided. (Reflected in reasonable price!) We ate breakfast around the corner at Deja Vu which was quite good. Would definitely stay there again!"

Monte Bianco Inn

"It's an Inn with personalized rooms - so expect individuality. Our bed was big and comfy. The coffee comes in a nice little jar - not sachets or pods - to be put into the traditional percolator. The teabags came in a nice range. The cups: big, pretty mugs. So nice to have a big cup of tea. Good sized fridge and a microwave. Considering how little we were paying, it was a steal. Centrally located, an easy walk from everywhere. Even better - a grocery store is just across the road so we had milk for our tea. Yay! Check-in was slick."
