Mount Zirkel Wilderness, Colorado hotel rooms at the Independent

"Beautiful place right on the Yampa River. In town and close to the hot springs. Breakfast could be better. I would recommend this place."

"This was the cleanest motel I've stayed in. I loved that it came with a mini fridge and microwave, but there were no dishes whatsoever. If you've got a microwave, you need at least a set of silverware, plates and mugs. Also, there was no hair dryer. We were surprised and disappointed by the lack of these items. But otherwise appreciated the ammenities provided (nice big tv). We didn't know that we were supposed to call to arrange check-in and get a door code for self check-in, but there is no check-in for this motel. We eventually got ahold of an employee who helped us get in. "
