중앙역 근처에 위치한 호텔. 위치는 크게 나쁘지않으나 좋지도 않음.
중앙역 근처 걸어서 5-6분에 위치한 호텔이에요 이동하기에 그닥 나쁘지 않음. 위치가 나쁜건 아닌데 그렇다고 엄청 좋은 건 아니에요. 3성호텔이니 어마어마한걸 기대할 수는 없고 그냥 낡은 호텔을 할 수 있는 한 최대한 깔끔하게는 운영하려고 하는 것 같습니다. 하이쭝은 잘 되는데 독일 난방이 그렇듯 아무리 빵빵하게 켜놔도 엄청 따뜻해지지는 않아요. 커플 숙박은 비추천이고 친구들끼리 뮌헨 짧게 놀러왔을 때 머무르기에 좋은 것 같아요. 스태프들도 나름 친절한 편이엇습니다.

위치가 괜찮아요.
중앙역과 거리가 멀지는 않아서 이동하기 편했어요. 구시가 관광도 손쉽게 할 수 있는 위치였구요. 퓌센으로 갈때도 편했습니다. 딱 가격만큼 값어치하는 호텔인것 같습니다.

Der Hotelzustand ist weit von drei Sternen entfernt - im negativen Sinne. Die Einrichtung ist altmodisch, aber in Ordnung. Im Bad gibt es diverse Beschädigungen an der Wandfarbe, etc.. Der Druck aus der Duschbrause ist lächerlich, Haare waschen kaum möglich. Die Fenster dämpfen den Schall der darunter liegenden Straße nur sehr bedingt ab. Die Vorhänge reichen zudem nicht ansatzweise aus, um die Fenster abzudunkeln. Die Schlafqualität fiel entsprechen mäßig aus. Für den Preis und zwei Nächte war es akzeptabel. Würde es trotzdem nicht empfehlen.

For the price, everything was good. It was clean, warm, and the staff was friendly. They let us check-in earlier. The location was close to Karlsplatz and Marienplatz, also the underground station was close. Many restaurants and fast-food chains were within 5 minutes of walking distance.

Rummet var varmt, utan AC och med fönstret öppet välde rök in från uteserveringen nedan. Sägarna var med något plastskeds som gjorde dem varma och obekväma. Var ej bemannat dygnet runt, efter tio helt obemanation. Enda gångerna vi såg någon personal var vid in och utcheckning, däremellan var receptionen tom. De städar på begäran inte dagligen som det står. Området kändes väldigt otryggt och jag skulle inte vilja gå själv på den och med en åttaåring i sällskap var det ytterst obehagligt.

Paid for 2 days and stayed less then 12 hours without refund. Had to stay for a night but left this "hotel" at 4 AM. Area is not save. I'm not racist but area is looking not like Germany but Midle east. With prostitutes on the corners, groups of young men, bazars, and eastern restaurants. The hotel was renovated in 80s. In fact it's not a hotel but hostel for the price of a hotel. Shower was broken in my room. Drain blocked. Internet is worster then free city internet. They have no air conditioning but you cant open windows either. Becouse its noisy and mosquitos. Unfriendly staff and management. Terrible place.

Misleading
The listing for this hotel is misleading and I'm not sure if it's on hotels.com's end or the hotel itself. I booked this hotel because I was arriving fairly late and it had a 24 hour front desk. It also said there is a bar and restaurant at the hotel. These are the things that made me choose this hotel. When we found the hotel, we were told they have 2 hotels with the same name and everyone always thinks its the one we were at. The one we were at did in fact have someone working reception and it did in fact have a bar and restaurant. After looking at the address on hotels.com, the one we are booked for is arpund the corner. Okay, that's not a big deal. When we got to that one, there is in fact no 24 hour front desk. The front desk closes at 1030pm. We were able to get in from another guest opening the door to leave and I found a paper with my name and room number just sitting on the counter (for anylne to see). We called the number listed for after hours check in and we were able to get our key via lockbox. I double checked the listing on hotels.com. The address we were at is in fact the one being advertised as having a 24 hour front desk with a restaurant and bar when those amenities are for the one around the corner with a different address. It felt very bait and switchy. The room itself was basic, bathroom was kind of old and run down, and the area around wasn't great. The positives: its proximity to the central train station and not far from Marienplatz and all that.

I stayed here for three nights with a friend (we're both males in our 40s and were more interested in drinking Munich beer than visiting the galleries). We shared a twin room and it was very much adequate for our needs – it was very clean, with comfortable beds, a very hot and decent shower, and friendly staff. It's location is great for the old town and Central Station. I'd stay there again for a basic and convenient stay in Munich. I wouldn't go there on a honey moon, or if I wanted luxury. Could have done with a safe in the room, and my friend would have liked a kettle. But for value for money, this place was perfect for us.

Diese Bewertung ist für das Hotel Gio und das tolle Team dort! Wir hatten eigentlich das Hotel Deutsches Theater gebucht und standen dann bei -8 Grad vor verschlossener Tür. Bei Hotel Gio angerufen die uns unterbringen konnten. Das Personal war einfach spitze! Und dazu war das Frühstück am nächsten Tag hervorragend, Hotel Gio kann ich nur empfehlen!
