"Great room in a great location. Had all the amenities, spacious, vaulted ceiling, quiet and comfortable. But best of all was Nina, the manager, who was welcoming, informative, and super helpful. Can ’t wait to return. "

"Hotel is beautiful with great ambiance. Conveniently located and top room has a fantastic terrace. Only complaint is that they didn’t service the rooms very often. "
"Breakfast was wonderful with a vast array of choices. Hot and cold buffet - highly recommended if staying at the Hotel
Room was really clean and the man who serviced the room daily was very friendly and very helpful for the week I resided in the Hotel. This is the second time I have stayed at the Hotel A'mare and will indeed return if possible."
"What a cool spot in the walled city. The staff was friendly and made our stay pleasant. Breakfast was great.
If you're on an extended road trip through the country and you're renting a car, you will have to park outside the walled city. It's not hard but you will be better off to just bring you overnight clothes with you and leave the rest of your large bag at the car. It's safe and the walk to the hotel is easy and flat. "
"Overnight stay with partner in September.
Rooms are large and bright and all was spotlessly clean. September is perhaps not high season in Zadar, but still there were a few customers at the hotel and we still had a very quiet sleep.
We didn't file any particular request but felt the staff was friendly and welcoming.
Buffet breakfast with good variety. Sadly, the machine to prepare coffee was dated and the taste of our coffee left quite a bit to be desired. I'd say that's the only serious bit where this hotel lets itself down.
Location also isn't too central, but Zadar offers many means of transport to get close to the old town, plus there are a few restaurants in the area (the hotel also has its own) and a convenience store right opposite the hotel. We had our own car which could accommodate in Mediteran's parking area.
Overall, we'd recommend the hotel."
"Near the end of 3 weeks in Croatia. So happy to have the comfort and service of an American quality high end hotel after several apartments in historic cities “posing” as hotels. Hotels.com complicates the issue by not easily distinguishing between the two. Great staff. Great location. Great harbor view. Great cocktail bar. Great breakfast included. Easy parking. Will recommend this hotel to all our friends traveling in this area. "
You can browse the exhibits at Church of St. Mary's, a museum with a story of its own, during your trip to Zadar. Wander the seaside and beautiful beaches in this relaxing area.
