"(had to cram to fit the character limit, please know it was worse) Please read this before you book. I have never written a review before, so it says a lot that I felt the need to write this. The staff were very nice and friendly, but that is where the positives end. Signage on arrival is poor. Once you turn off the main road the only sign points to a “private road”, so I went the other way and ended up at the back of the hotel, which looks extremely shabby and run down. "The room was extremely hot although the heating didn't work. The window would not open. Only one member of staff on reception and the bar so we couldn't get a drink in happy hour as she was rushed. Also she was new. The food was expensive and not very good. "

"Booked the room well in advance and had a confirmation and messages from the hotel in advance of our stay. Got to the hotel only to be told that they had no room for us. Poor lady at the front desk tried to help us but the manager stayed in the office and offered no help. Our advice would be to call ahead of your visit to make sure that you actually have a room - or better yet, stay elsewhere. We stayed at The Town Crier and we highly recommend for service, location, cleanliness and comfort. "

"The Premier is a short walk from the train station. The room was big enough, comfortable big bed, coffee machine and kettle. We had the breakfast buffet each morning and it was a good way to start the day. The location is fabulous for walking on the beaches, exploring the town - lots of shops and restaurants right out the front door. Staff were great . "
