"The worst hotel experience ever! I paid for a room for 3 guests, but it only accommodated 2 people. Even at check-in, the room was prepared for 2 guests only. When I asked the receptionist, they said I needed to pay extra for the third bed — apparently, the existing setup was only for 2 pax.
I reached out to Expedia, but they couldn’t do anything about it. In the end, one of us had to sleep on the sofa.
Housekeeping was also disappointing — by 4 PM, our room still wasn’t cleaned. Strangely,...

"Pros: the grounds are stunningly beautiful. The views are incredible of downtown Chongqing. Out suite was large and clean and well appointed. Extremely close to the cable car terminal. Good food walking distance in all directions.
Cons: service was iffy and inconsistent. Food onsite is limited and not very good.
Overall: expensive but worth it if visiting Chongqing.
