"This place is a long way from Yangzhou, about 40min. Pictured are misleading, as it is on a dry river bed, not on the Li river. Once you get over the shock of being so remote actually the service is very friendly, beautiful hiking and amazing rooms. The

"I had some initial confusion about the address of the hotel. It was not listed on hotels.com and appeared as Lanshan Wangyue Homestay on Google maps. After communicating with staff via WeChat, the address was clarified for our DiDi driver. Despite this, our stay far exceeded expectations. The location sits among beautiful green mountains which you get to view through a wall to wall window from your room. The hotel is privately owned which I think is quite rare in China and has a boutique feel....
