This was our second time staying here within a month. We had such a great time the first time we came back. The staff has been amazing for both stays. The room was clean, and has nice furnishings. The restaurant/bar at the hotel has also always gone above and beyond. The outdoor seating has heaters and blankets (for winter months). It's a cozy place to have a drink, dinner or deserts. There is so much to do around the hotel (even if your not interested in Anime). Would stay again.

Imano is a cozy, well run hostel that is impeccably clean. The beds are comfortable. The women only floor is secured with a lovely common area and a fridge.
Imano was the first hostel i ever visited 3 years ago and i will gladly visit again.
With the money you save staying here you can head to the super sento (3 mins walk) and relax after the day walking Tokyo.
Closest station exit is Shinjuku sanchome E1 which also has an elevator (close to golden gai).

The check in was so fast! Automation was excellent. Room spotless. It took bit to learn the lights in the room. We were able to sleep very well. It's comforting not to leave the airport and catch a plane the next morning easily. There were Xmas activities when we arrived. That would have been beautiful ...
