โThe location is perfect if you are wanting to explore Temple Bar! You can definitely hear people partying pretty late but that didnโt bother us, it comes with the location. The room is also quite small but my partner and I are both on the smaller side so we were good with that too. In addition, the staff was absolutely amazing and you had to scan your card to get to the floor your room was on so we definitely felt very safe (Dublin itself felt really safe to us in general). โWe would definitely stay at The Davenport again. We liked the location near Merrion Square- a little away from the crowds in Grafton St /Temple Bar area, but still very walkable to those places. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good, lots of choices. We quite enjoyed our stay. โ
โI loved my stay here! The room was gorgeous and full of unique touchesโ the Nespresso machine and Dyson hair dryer were my favorites. I would definitely stay here again! โ
โLoved everything about this hotel and experience. The only thing to note is that if you are a couple sharing a room, the bed is up against a wall, meaning you have to climb over your partner to pee in the middle of the night. If youโre in your mid 40s, be prepared! We will definitely come back. โ
โRooms were small but nicely decorated. Service was SUPERB. One example: my sister asked for a Manhattan, but the bartender didnโt know how to make it. The next night, he had studied how to make it and made her an excellent cocktail. Area around the hotel was quiet, but close to a fun area with tons of great restaurants and bars. โ
โThe units were comfortable and really designed for those who plan to be "out and about." The rooms provide the basics and are very clean. We actually stayed at the facility twice due to the excellent location. We suggest asking for one of the upper floors because there is quite a bit of street noise on the south side that one can hear.โ
โThis was my third stay in Anantara hotel around the globe. As expected, the service was wonderful, staff very friendly, a nice room with a view of the grand canal. The breakfast was less impressive compared to other anatara sites, but we enjoyed our stay. โ
