"Relatively close to airport. Beds are not very comfortable (sloping mattresses) and pillow menu not available when we checked. Toliet and shower rooms are only opaque glass partitions, so if you’re sharing with someone you’re not super close to, fair warning. Mostly business related guests, so hallways were quiet. Staff are the best part of this hotel. Very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Secured parking under the hotel is convenient as well."

"The hotel is in a great location for exploring Barcelona. I found the room was clean, the shower was good and the bed and pillows were super comfy. The room had quiet air conditioning a fridge, hairdryer and coffee. Would reccomend for a long weekend as it is really at the centre of all public transport making it easy to get back to after a long day out walking"

"Stayed here our first night in Spain before travelling south. The hotel is conveniently located on La Rambla, with a Metro stop just up the street. There is supermarket on the same block and the Market is only a couple of blocks away. So much to see and do is within walking distance. There is currently construction on La Rambla but we didn't hear it. We will definitely stay here again."

"I recently stayed at Hotel Acta Azul and was very disappointed to learn that the air conditioning is automatically deactivated whenever the outside temperature is considered “cool” by the hotel. This is not something they tell you when booking, and it makes a big difference in comfort. My room became warm and stuffy, and the only option they offered was to open the window, which means dealing with constant noise from the busy avenue right outside. For a hotel in this price range, this should be clearly communicated in advance so guests can make an informed decision. If you’re sensitive to heat, need consistent climate control, or prefer a quiet room, this is something you should absolutely be aware of before booking."
