Our room was so comfortable and homey! We slept better than in our own beds at home. Everything was perfectly to our liking. Breakfast was wonderful as well as was the company and the owner of the residence was a delight. The only word I can use to sum up the whole thing is charming. We plan to be back.

An outstanding place

My wife wrestled with this when making the reservation (I think she happened to check it out during a web remodel for the place so the web site was in a bit of disarray). Then when you pull up the house looks like an old farmhouse (which is is), so you're not sure if you made the right choice. However, once inside this home, you'll feel welcomed and rejuvenated. Jeanna does a great job with the little touches, making your stay feel extremely comfortable. We stayed at three bed and breakfasts during our vacation in 3 different cities. This is our first choice to return to and we'll make it a destination trip next time. Her breakfasts are nice, the city it's in has lots to do, or you can just do nothing and enjoy the grounds. Neat, neat place.

One night of great stay

Check-in was easy and a wonderful way to get more knowledge about Whispering Pines. We were given vegan bars and they were absolutely amazing! Jeanna was so helpful and even gave us the recipe for the bars. Breakfast was also very tasty! Overall, we had a great, relaxing nights stay! Would definitely go back!

Weekend stay

We loved our stay at Whispering Pine and Jeanna was extremely helpful in helping us find a dog sitter while we went to family activities. Breakfast was delicious as well. I would definitely go back.

Relaxing get-away

The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed the peace and quiet during our stay and especially enjoyed the beautiful grounds and gardens. Jeanna prepared delicious and unique breakfasts. Very hospitable and gracious. Plan to be back.

Whispering Pines 8-2

Our stay was amazing. Hostess was very cordial, accommodations excellent, and breakfast was wonderful. Ate on the porch, weather was perfect and the garden was beautiful. Over the top!!

Best getaway

Such a wonderful BnB. I have stayed at many other BnBs over the years. Whispering Pines in Nebr City is still my favorite. Jeanna the owner is the best as well as her food. Its so relaxing and such a beautiful place.

40th anniversary

It's a beautiful peaceful home. We stayed there several years ago and it was as charming as we remembered it to be then. Jeanna is very personable and accommodating. She loves people and loves to serve.

Wonderful and charming little getaway

All of the property is so beautiful and full of life from the trees, flowers and pond. Its stress-free, inviting and relaxing. Jeanna is full of helpful information and is an incredible chef. Would definitely recommend this sweet, tucked-away gem.

Barn Room

Loved this B&B my first with many more to come because she made us feel very at home. The room was so fun and interesting. Every time I looked around I saw something else that made me laugh. From the bathroom to the hand made coffee table our of reclaimed wood. I would definitely go back.

Great place to stay!

Whispering Pines is a great place to get away. It is in a secluded area but close to everything. Jeanna was very welcoming and very informative, not only did she give us ideas for the weekend but also for upcoming events in the area. Great recommendation for dinner. Beautiful house and surroundings. Can't wait to go back.

Anniversary Stay

We stayed at Whispering Pines during our honeymoon 25 years ago in 1993. Even though the Inn is now under new ownership, it is still a B & B and was a treat to stay at again! There have been changes and improvements, all for the good. The hot tub was fun to use and gaze at the stairs in the cool of a March evening in Nebraska. We took a walk around the grounds before breakfast. The innkeeper was very nice and welcoming and her staff were also very helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Place to Stay!

We stayed for my husbands birthday and it was the perfect place! Jeanna is wonderful, and so willing to do whatever it takes to make her guests happy and welcome. The B&B was BEAUTIFUL... 24/7 hot tub, and very clean rooms. Her cooking was amazing!!! I am usually not a breakfast fan, but had to indulge in her food. There is PLENTY to do in the area history and nature lovers need to explore the Arbor Day Lodge. There are art galleries, places to shop, the Missouri River is close by and Omaha is within driving distance. What a great weekend. Cant wait to bring the kids back with us one of these days so we can all go pick apples at the orchard!

Whispering Pines

My Wife and I stated at Whispering Ridge B&B celebrating her Birthday. We had a great time. It was our first B&B. The room was great son was the hospitality. We even enjoyed the shopping in downtown Neb City.

Repeat Stay

This was our second stay and enjoyed it as much as the first. Jeanna is the consummate host. She is familiar with the area and the sites to visit.
