Great stay. Biggest challenge is that the rooms door was frosted glass and the night lights lit the room up like Armageddon. The team acted fast and turned off the lights for the remaining nights, which was much appreciated. Overall, food was good, service was a little slow but always well intentioned.

Fantastic rooms and gardens

Third time visitor and we will be back again soon, beautiful rooms and garden, friendly staff and a fabulous restaurant (for breakfast or dinner).

A lovely quiet, stylish place. Excellent Service.

The nicest place we have stayed in Nelspruit area. Very nice owners. Kind compasssionate and helpful. Highly recommended.Very nice rooms and excellent breakfast. I have stayed in many hotels and B+B's in this area and Sheppards Boutique Hotel is by far the nicest. Lovely pool and stunning views.We will definitely be back.

Excellent place to stay. Beautiful guesthouse with gorgeous rooms. Only stayed for one night passing through to Kruger Park however would definitely consider staying longer in the future. Excellent base for exploring.

Well furnished boutique hotel

This hotel is a large boutique hotel - and although it looks like it has been around for a while, the rooms were freshly decorated. The hotel has quality furniture, linens and towels - which gave it a more luxurious feel than other B&Bs that I have stayed in. The breakfast was delicious - offering both a buffet of cereals and cold meats etc and a plate of cooked breakfast made to order. The leafy garden and views over Nelspruit were lovely and made us feel like we had had a mini-holiday whilst overnighting in Nelspruit.

Conforto e tranquilidade

O hotel tem poucos quartos, é charmoso e está localizado em uma área residencial tranquila, ideal para quem procura exclusividade e conforto. O quarto é amplo, limpo, silencioso e possui comodidades como chaleira elétrica, sachês de café e açúcar. O banheiro também é grande e conta com um chuveiro muito bom. O wi-fi funcionou bem e a equipe, formada pela família que é proprietária do local, foi bastante atenciosa no atendimento e nos auxiliou na reserva de um safári (game-driver). A única ressalva que faço é em relação ao café da manhã, pois achei com pouca variedade para um hotel boutique e com restrição demasiada de horário, servido apenas das 7:00-9:00, durante a semana. A maioria dos hóspedes sai cedo para o safári, pois o Kruger Park fica distante cerca de uma hora do hotel e pelo amanhecer os animais estão mais ativos e mais fáceis de serem vistos (os tours privados costumam sair às 5:00, por exemplo). Dos três dias que estive no hotel, pude aproveitar apenas um dia do café da manhã e não me foi oferecida nenhuma opção de antecipação de horário. Considere isso no preço e na avaliação das opções de hotelaria, pois você dificilmente vai aproveitar todos os dias do café da manhã, se quiser aproveitar bem o dia no Kruger Park. De qualquer forma, recomendo a hospedagem.

A Nelspruit Gem

Our stay was fabulous, the room outstanding, the garden gorgeous and the main building with the dining room and verandah furnished beautifully. One of the loveliest Guest Houses we have stayed in. It is convenient to town and good restaurants but far enough away to be tranquil and quiet. We will certainly be back.
