Amazing sprawling hotel in beautiful grounds

This is hotel is truly amazing. We stayed for one night whilst travelling from south to north France. The grounds are huge. The swimming pool a good size and warm. Beach volley ball. Table tennis . Crazy golf. The grounds are so unique. I would have stayed 2 nights had i realised hiw nuce it was

More than disappointing

This hotel is beautifil from the outside but unfortunately really outdated inside. The room felt really sterile- almost felt that i was in a hospital, except it really wasnt that clean. The restaurant staff were amazing though.

On arrival property appeared closed and is set within a nursing home. Restaurant closed, bar closed. Host breath smelt of cigarettes!!! Not a hotel to choose!

We stayed here for one night on our way from Spain to England. The location is beautiful with lovely grounds surrounding the property. A real bonus! The staff were kind and friendly and the room, a family room with a double bed and two singles, had the benefit of the two singles (actually a double and a single) being in a separate, adjoining room. Perfect for our two teenage children. The rooms were basic but very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept extremely well. The whole property, actually a series of separate buildings, felt a bit like an abandoned boarding school, but not in a bad way, just a little unusual. We presumed that they mainly cater for large groups. We dined in the restaurant, which has a set menu. The food was tasty and the young man who waited on us was delightful. We also had breakfast the following morning with delicious croissants, yoghurt, brioche, meats and cheeses and jams and honey. Good coffee and a selection of juices and an equally delightful young lady to help with anything we needed. All in all it was an extremely comfortable and beautiful place to stay. The location was the perfect stop over distance and we would all be very happy to stay again.

Très bel endroit avec une équipe géniale. Il y a une aire de jeu, une bibliothèque, un bar une piscine couverte, des parcours de santé, un lac des animaux, des ânes... Manque de personnel !

Un accueil parfait mais un service déplorable surtout au bar ou le serveur est inexistant très fort pour la parlotte mais qui ne bouge même pas le petit doigt pour aider son collègue du restaurant . Celui-ci devait être à son premier jour car il nous a fait de la peine pendant tout le service et pourtant menu unique et on ne sait toujours pas le prix du repas. Aucun choix !!!

Prima locatie voor overnachting op doorreis!

Met ons gezin hier overnacht op doorreis naar Zuid Frankrijk. Locatie was op dat moment niet druk bezocht. Vriendelijk ontvangst door receptioniste, die zelfs wat woorden Engels sprak. Mooie groene locatie met veel ruimte om de gebouwen. Voor onze kinderen heerlijk om even te rennen na een dag in de auto. Zwembad helaas om 19u gesloten. Onze kinderen hadden graag nog even gezwommen na het avondeten. Restaurant gesloten voor diner, dat was tevoren bij ons niet bekend. Inrichting van de kamers wat ouderwets, maar dat past juist in de sfeer van het gebouw. Een mooi landhuis met brede houten trappen. Kamer verder van alles voorzien: airco, badkamer, separaat toilet, tv, minikoelkast, kluisje, bureautje. En vooral alles netjes schoon!

Je n’ai pas du tout apprécié le fait que l’agent d’accueil me ne me prenne pas au sérieux en me donnant une chambre 1 pièce 1 lit simple alors que j’avais payé pour une chambre 2 pièces un lit double et un lit simple. Ce n’est qu’après être revenu deux fois à l’accueil que j’ai fini par avoir une chambre deux pièces mais malheureusement c’était encore avec deux lits simples et lorsque je suis sorti de ma chambre pour demander à en changer à nouveau, l’accueil était fermé. Ces changements m’ont fait perdre plus de 30 minutes. J’avais clairement l’impression d’avoir été mené en bateau et escroqué car comme j’étais seul on ne voulait pas me donner la chambre que j’avais pourtant réservée. Par ailleurs l’état général de l’établissement est très médiocre c’est vieillot. Les volets de la chambre ne peuvent pas se fermer est-ce normal? Je ne pense pas. Pas de savon pour les mains. La télévision est un écran à peine plus grand que celui d’un ordinateur se trouvant à l’autre bout de la chambre. Le personnel n’est pas accueillant et n’est pas pro du tout. On ne m’a pas indiqué comment rentrer ou sortir de l’établissement après la fermeture de l’accueil. J’ai tenté également de joindre le numéro de permanence, j’attend toujours qu’on me rappelle… Quant au petit déjeuner, c’est très médiocre pour le prix
