The room was very clean (I'm a clean freak), staff was very kind, and parking is free (big plus in New Orleans). The breakfast was always stocked at the respective hours and it was yummy! The only concern I had was the shower curtain, it would not cover the full shower so water would get out, so we used a big towel to dry the floor.

The desk staff was nice, the room was ok for a last minute stay. I booked the wrong hotel. The building smelled and elevator floor was old and dirty. The hallway carpet was filthy. The room was okay in appearance because there were some upgrades. But, we went to Walmart to purchase towels and wash cloths because I found hair. If the snow storm didn't force us to leave a day early and drive all night from Indiana to New Orleans, I would have not booked this place in error. Lesson learned.

I didn't particularly have a bad stay, the TV had next to no channels again nothing horribly wrong. This hotel has potential. They can use some upgrades and updates to the hotels as well as the rooms. My kids liked the breakfast for what it was. The proximity to downtown is also great I'm from the city so the location is the best. They were short on towels didn't have enough in my room. The staff helped me with that. $200+ a night not bad , but for this room it can be cheaper . Anytime my normal hotel isn't available this will still be my next choice.

The inside of the hotel was nicely done. The lounging areas were very cozy. But the landscaping made the hotel look run down and abandoned. I almost drove away! The room was really nice, but the dining chairs in the suite were heavily soiled. Either need to be deep cleaned or replaced.

The hotel is definitely not like the pictures .Manager and staff are good and they tried but the hotel definitely looks like it was still bouncing back from Katrina .It has an old wet carpet smell , the tub paint in the room I was in and the room they switch me too was peeling ,curtain rode was rusted out .The sheets on the bed were clean but somebody greasy face print was still in the headboard .They definitely need a remodel I stayed one night.At my friends hotel the 2nd night checked out and they were nice enough to refund me my last night .
