The staff was very friendly and helpful! I was very disappointed in my view as I specified a courtyard view when I booked and also at the desk at time of check in. The condition of the building is in need or repair. We don’t stay in chain hotels as we enjoy the authenticity of places such as your hotel. Your hotel is beautiful but needs some TLC! I left notes for the staff on areas that were broken, non-functional and in need of repair in room 301. The leaky ceiling in the bathroom just needs some new ceiling tiles and a little sanding and paint on the rafters. The make-up mirror in the bathroom had a broken bracket. The outlet near the window didn’t work. Our telephone didn’t work at all as well. We did appreciate the regular alarm clock at the bedside. With the restaurant downstairs it would have been nice to have a microwave available near the ice machine on each floor to re-heat leftovers for those late night snacks. The outdoor area was nice & we enjoyed the convenience of on-site valet parking. We’ll be back to the Nola French Quarter area for a concert Labor Day weekend and will consider staying at your place again. Like I said, the building needs TLC and repair but the staff was awesome! 🤗

The hotel was fine the staff wasn’t very helpful when there was a mixup with a booking, telling me I should have called them and booked with them, at the time the snide response was definitely not needed and was pretty unprofessional and rude. I realize I should have done that while dealing (and continue to deal with having money not refunded), I didn’t need the comment while dealing with missing money. It was very much a kick a person while they’re down, it was unwarranted and all around a sloppy way to respond to a costumer

Definitely needs one work. The bathrooms are falling apart and the elevators were so creaky we weren’t sure they would make it. Pool area was amazing though!

It is a decent hotel in the French Quarter. It is valet parking only, for an additional $45. There aren’t any good parking alternatives nearby. That was an unexpected cost. Otherwise it’s a bit old but clean, the staff is very good, and it is within walking distance of many great New Orleans sights.

The concierge checked us into a room that was occupied, the 2nd room was dirty. the 3rd room was ok but the TV , could not log into anything, kept freezing, AC was extremely loud.The elevators sound like they will break down any second.

Great location, fantastic staff and lovely pool. We will be back! Some noise from adjoining rooms through doors and hallways but it was tolerable.

The hotel was excellent. Staff friendly and professional. Enjoyed the pool. The only issue we had was regarding the Fahy bar across the street. Loud music and people hanging outside every night until early morning hours. It was quite annoying. Otherwise, everything about this hotel was great and we will be back!

This hotel is right on the bus route. If you buy an RTA pass, you can travel all over New Orleans for pennys a day - bus or trolley. We took the bus directly to Jazz Fest!!

The property itself is well taken care of including the lobby. The room was as expected. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and you could tell there had been leakage from the room above us.

This hotel needs some TLC in so many places. That being said, the staff are amazing and the hotel is so convenient to Bourbon Street and all the tourist attractions in that area. It’s very quiet given its proximity to everything. It has a good quiet area and a nice little bar/restaurant inside although it’s only open on the weekend. Recommend but know it’s not SUPER fancy….

Hotel was old and dirty, but the location was good. Staff was friendly. The elevators are so rickety I thought they would crash each time I rode them and was excited when I safely got to my floor.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Check in/out was very easy and staff are amazing. Loved the vintage look of the hotel and how it’s walking distance to so many amenities. I plan to stay here again. The only issue I have is that the tv service was horrible, but if you don’t plan on watching tv then you’ll be alright. I do plan to stay here again.

This hotel was quite disappointing. The location was great because we could walk anywhere in the French quarter without trouble. However, the hotel itself was dirty. The elevator creaked and groaned like it was about to break, and it was dirty (floor & walls). The carpeting when exiting the elevator (any floor-I checked) was stained and very dirty. The pool was so dirty, people were joking about not seeing the bottom and not wanting to go in. We thought they were in the process of treating/cleaning the pool, but we were told, "no it's open for swimming" The attached restaurant was very nice for breakfast. The front desk/transportation people were very nice and helpful. I think they would have a great place to stay with some upgrades and thorough cleaning on a regular basis.

This is a nice hotel 3 blocks off bourbon street. The front desk lady was great. The rooms are dated but were perfectly clean. My only complaint is even though i had my do not disturb placard on the door housekeeping disturbed me two out of four mornings (even coming into the room once while i was still in bed) otherwise staff would have gotten 5 stars.

The location is great and the room is a good size. WIFI was non existent and the room needed a thorough cleaning- lots of spots were missed. The balcony was shared with another suite.

I booked a King with a balcony and when we got there, the room was the size of the bed. They switched us to another room but it had two full-size beds, which was not very romantic. Just know that the rooms are not all the same size and the room they gave us was probably not even intended to be a room but maybe a storage closet????

I went to eat breakfast in the restaurant. While I was waiting for service, I started working, drinking the free hotel coffee. After the other guests had been served, I noticed that the young waitress started playing on her phone instead of taking my order. I concluded I would not be served and went back to my room with the free hotel coffee. The next morning, the desk staff and waitresses told me that I was banned from their restaurant for not paying my - free !! - hotel coffee !! They locked me out from the restaurant. I complained and the manager did apologize: the accusations were based on misunderstandings .... I was very emotionally upset being called a thief !

We had a great stay! The location is excellent but far enough away that it is quiet. We loved the music in the restaurant attached to the hotel and Joshua, the bartender, was a joy. We will definitely be back!
