It was a good hotel for New York. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. There were delicious Chinese restaurants all around. I tried one called Dim Sum Palace and it was the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. The area seemed to be very safe, even late at night. It was a Saturday and there were many young couples and groups walking around at 10 p.m. The next morning I found a nice place for breakfast called The Corner Bar just across the street. The only negative was that there was no chair in the room and so I had to eat my Chinese takeout in the bed.

Basement room nice but

It's a nice, clean hotel, staff is friendly. We did have the room in the basement it can be quiet at night. The staff in the morning gathers around the ice machine there which can wake you up. The night we stayed the Internet went out so we didn't have the best time with no TV and barely cellular service in the basement. Front desk was only able to refund the service fee butwe appreciate at least that.

All the staff was great! The room was small but we weren't here to stay in it. The beds & pillows were comfy. A cabinet was added in the hallway that was stufffed with water bottles, snacks, extra toilet paper, etc.... We would stay again!!!
