Staff were friendly and the food was good. The rooms were well appointed and clean. Great location across the road from the lake. Not much off street parking and the access to the rooms is a little dodgy are the only drawbacks.

Rooms old and worn, hotel on busy intersection above pub so pretty noisy. Nice location but terrible view from room.

I loved the accessible dining, the view from my balcony and the wonderful staff. I struggled with the stairs a little bit.

We felt very comfortable in the new renovated down stairs The rooms are old but spacious look forward to the new room renovations witch we believe are commencing in April

We were informed four hours before check-in that renovations were underway. Half the accommodation area was a building site! Guest parking was taken up by workers’ vehicles. Our bathroom was grubby, with a crack in the toilet bowl. BUT the bar area staff and food was amazing!

Ocean view but no option to open windows, didn’t need to book for dining, but when it came to eat no tables available. Had to Uber to another venue. You would think parking would be reserved for people staying in motel. No parking available. Aircon noisy, disappointing. But room was clean

Staff were excellent, as was the service. Charley, Shelley, Will and Yvonne (the cleaner) were all cheerful, & very helpful. Room was clean. Restaurant meals were great, with generous servings. On the down side: Free WiFi was connected but didn't work. Stairs were difficult for older folk - all accommodation being on the first floor. Room we were allocated was far too small for an eight night stay, there were other larger rooms. Refrigerator was tiny and not fit for purpose. No hand towel or face washers. No toaster or microwave.

Pictures of the room on the booking site are very misleading. Our room was clean but very tired and dull and looked nothing like the pictures we saw. Shower was terrible and constantly went cold. Location is good and the balcony had a nice view. Pub downstairs is excellent but we could have done without the barking dogs from an adjoining property that woke us early both mornings. Not the hotel's fault, but still annoying. Should add that there is no lift & the accomodation is on the first floor. Not recommended if stairs are a problem.
