“This was such a cute little apartment. It is attached to the Milecastle Pub, which has very delicious food. A portion of Hadrian’s Wall is within walking distance. I would definitely recommend.”

“Hut was well stocked with all the stuff you need. Great hot water & pressure in shower. Clean, cozy & comfortable beds. Host was very friendly and helpful. Loved our wood fired hot tub. Just be careful with the water level once you start adding people!”

“The bungalow was as described very clean and had a lot of nice touches robes for shower tea biscuits coffee etc lots of room for storage and beautiful scenery open fire as well and Georgina was excellent with communication instructions would highly recommend ”

“Excellent location for Kielder Forest and observatory and within easy reach of the east coast. Easy to get to accommodation with plenty of surrounding walks. Quiet”

“Stayed here while we walked part of Hadrians wall. Ideal base. Beautiful barn conversation. The owners left us wine , biscuits and scones on arrival which was lovely. Would definitely stay here again ”

“Swallow Cottage is in a great location for exploring Cumbria and Northumberland. We had a lovely stay in a comfortable and very clean cottage. The owner was fabulous when we had a small issue and responded straight away. We'd definitely stay here again”

“Beautiful property in a quiet area, advertised to be Carlisle but was a few miles out, this wasn't too much of an inconvenience. Parking available on the street, internet and phone available. Only improvement I would recommend would be to swap the bed from a double to a king, however this wouldn't stop me from recommending the place.”
